Postcards from the Bruce Trail

A writer's journal and photography blog documenting 900km of hiking End-to-End on the Bruce Trail from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Tobermory, Canada

Back to the Bruce Trail

After a full month’s hiatus from hiking, we’re lacing up again this weekend on the Toronto Section of the Bruce Trail. A long business trip kept me away, and I was missing the Canadian outdoors so we spent last Sunday enjoying it, fishing with our boys on beautiful Georgian Bay.

Ok, they fished. I slept. But it was a spectacular day. I hope it’s not too late to catch some autumn glory on the Trail at Hilton Falls. It looks like the weather will be overcast and cool. Maybe not the best for photography but perfect for comfortable hiking!
